Airport Pandemonium!

What a day yesterday was! We took A-dawg to the airport to go home (sad) and little did we know what was waiting at the airport for us! By the time we got there at 7 am, the whole airport was a crazed and undesirable place. The lady at the ticket counter couldn't believe that we hadn't heard the 'news' about the 21 terrorists that were stopped in the U.K., and we couldn't believe that she wouldn't allow our sweet innocent kid to have his juice box on the plane. The security line was absolutely silly, as was the amount of stuff that people were throwing into large trash bins. Finally, after about 1/2 an hours wait in the security line, I told the lady that we had a unaccompanied minor flying, and needed to get him on the plane. She swept us right through, and we were able to get him on his flight --- luckily. What a crazy world we live in, but what a great feeling it is to know that we are being watched over and cared for. All in a days work at the airport I guess. (I wonder if any of the workers have new lipstick, cologne and moisturizer today!?)
