Mothers Day Week: Strong Mom's

This post I wanted to highlight some of the people who I see as strong mothers, wives and women. These women have not stopped giving, loving, and being there for their families through great trial and tribulation. These mom's are hero's to all of us, and give us the strength that we need to endure some of our own very personal trials. Here they are.
This is Santana, and his mom. Santana fell in a pool in December, and has brain damage. Santana is alive, and his mom has been part of his salvation. Her faith in God is beautiful, and so is the love she has for her baby boy. If you want to read about Santana and his mom, go HERE

This is Shane. Shane is 8 and has been battling a disease for over three years now. I don't know Shane's mom, but I am sure she has been an angel. Shane's wish has been that for his 8th birthday he would recieve three million birthday cards. That's his wish, and his family are working so hard to help him attain that wish. If you want to know more about Shane, go HERE.

This is Betsy. Betsy has a wonderful husband and two beautiful baby girls. When Betsy was pregnant with their second baby, her husband Ammon was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor. All in Betsy's last trimester her husband had surgery, and started chemotherapy treatments. Betsy has been a pilar of faith through it all, and has been so solid for her family. If you want to ready about Ammon, and his family go HERE.

Last, but not least this is Becky, and her baby girl Anna. Becky was diagnosed with Cushings disease and has been deathly ill. She has been so strong and faithful through her disease, and has still found a way to be an excellent mother and wife. Her faith is what has kept her going, and is what allows her to have joy in the most tremendous trial. If you want to read more about Becky and cushings disease, go HERE.

We all have trials in our lives.
Our lives our measured how we deal with our trials,
and the lessons learned.

These mom's are hero's to me.

Wow... that is so surreal. At 39 weeks pregnant, I may be in an emotional state... but the whole Santana story made me lose it. It truly is a parent's nightmare. What a touching story, thanks for sharing it.
