Elder James E. Faust
July 31, 1920 - August 10, 2007Elder Faust has been one of my favorite men, to ever grace this earth.
His smile is entrancing, and his demeanor is positive and full of happiness.
When Dad had a Stake Conference, Elder Faust attended.
We as the Stake President's family were able to
Serve this wonderful man, by preparing a meal for him...
What did he request, you ask?
Something light, and simple.
He went through and shook all of our hands.
He told my younger brother to call him "Grandpa"
He was extremely grateful for our service, and he shared his gratitude freely.
He was a Giant among men, although his stature was small.
These are my favorite words spoken by him:
"Believing requires action"
Our lives are better because you inspired us to live better.

Jen, thanks for the beautiful tribute! That is so neat that you were able to meet him! What a wonderul man and example he was (and still is). He definately returned home with honor!
